Planning a Trip to the Outback
Well, it's all set to go, I've booked my flight to and Alice Springs and it should be fun, I'm also currently looking into one of these ReliefBands that I originally saw on the Sharper Image site; according to all the reviews I've read (commercial and non-commercial) they work really well. And since I'm going to be in a car for 3 hrs at a time and flying in airplanes and other stuff like that I figured I should look into it so that I can at least be alert during my trip instead of drowsy all the time.
We spoke to a really nice travel agent named Scott who helped us book everything. He made lots of good suggestions and I think I'll go back to see him again to book any other trips that I may want to go to in future.
On a side note I've been teaching my friend Elena how to cook a few things too and learn to eat with chopsticks. She's helping me learn to juggle hehe! I don't know if I'll be any good at it by the time I get back but we'll see, it's great fun.
I can't believe how much milk we bought yesterday, 24L between the two of us. I bought 10L and Elena bought 14L; it's easier this way since the milk is long lasting. You just buy a bunch of it and store it in the cupboard until you need it and then once it's opened it goes into the refrigerator. The other reason for buying in bulk is because milk is quite heavy and so we wait until someone with a car from ISV happens to be driving home from Garden City and we hitch a ride with them, this time we went with Chantal.

I'm planning a trip as well...
