Pre: 2006 Year in Review

As per my friend Robin's request, I have compiled a pre 2006 year in review consisting of the first sentence of each month's blog entries. I say pre because I have another one which has been in the works since the beginning of the year and will be released in the New Year as my first entry for 2007.

Since 2006 was a bit crazy for me in terms of both blogging and living I have grabbed various pieces from different blogs that I write in.

Happy Australia Day everyone!

Tonight I went to see Anna Chau, International Face-Changing Artist, live on stage in the Brisbane Chinatown.

Yesterday was this guy Mark's birthday, he lives at ISV like me, so a bunch of us thought we'd take him out for some Thai food as this restaurant called Thai Orchid.

I arrived in Christchurch at around 11pm and took a shuttle into town to the hostel where I'd be staying that night.

Since this is a blog about Australia I've decided to create a new blog about New Zealand just to keep things separate.

Well, the time has finally come for me to say goodbye to Australia and fly back home to Canada.

Well I'm back in London now and to start the summer off right Craig and I went strawberry picking!

Yesterday Craig and I went to the London Hot Air Balloon Festival in Harris Park.

Well it was a stormy long weekend but Craig and I still managed to go down to the [Covent Garden] Market for a look at the different things on sale there.

This weekend Craig, his friend and I had the pleasure of going to see the concert Play! at the Hummingbird Centre in Toronto; we were also lucky enough to get fantastic seats.

On top of starting a new job, a new kitchen counter installed plus a new shower head, which was a bit of a surprise and a new smoke detector (all free - I knew that rent could work for us!).

Nothing for this month yet but I'm sure I'll think of something soon. ;)
