Back from New Zealand

Well I'm back from my trip to New Zealand, but it's going to take me some time to get all the photos up. So in the meantime here's a video montage (9MB) that you can watch of the whole trip featuring the song from a New Zealand band called The Exponents. Posted by Picasa

Welcome back, Val - I LOVE your video and it just confirms what we've thought all along - New Zealand is an awesome place to visit!
Looks like you had a wonderful time with a lot of fun people. Thanks for sharing the memories.
Best of luck in your next term,
Sue

p.s. I think I'll go watch it again - cool music too!

Hi,
I'm a 'Kiwi' living in the US ... just stumbled onto your excellent video ... you did a great job! Is the "Loaded Hog" in Christchurch?
I'm interested to know how you put your video together as I would like to do the same with pics from our recent trip home to NZ after 4 years away? Any help would be great - I'll even share the pics with you if you're interested. Thanks,
Carolyn (from Christchurch & Illinois)

Hi! Thanks for taking an interest in my video!

The Loaded Hog is in Christchurch and it's a great restaurant if you ever get a chance to go there.

As for how I made the video I used Windows Movie Maker 2, you can search for it on Google. I used a combination of both photos and video clips to add some extra interest and tried to sync up the song with the changing of the photos when I could.

Let me know if you have any more questions.
